Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does "Christian Reformed" mean?
A: We call ourselves "Christian" because we believe that Jesus
Christ is God's Son and our Savior. He came into this world to
rescue us from our rejection of God. By trusting in his death on the
cross and his rising from the dead, we receive from God the Father
the gifts of forgiveness of sin and eternal life. Calling ourselves
"Reformed" grounds us deeply in the heritage of the Christian faith.
It reminds us that we stand on the great truths that were
rediscovered centuries ago during the Protestant Reformation. At
that time, people were brought back to the authority of God's Word
and a personal relationship with Jesus. They began to establish
Bible-centered churches.
Q: Can my children attend the Cadet's
Boy's Club or the GEMS Girl's club even if I do not attend Greene
Road Church?
A: Absolutely! The children's ministries are open to all
children regardless of parental church affiliation.
